nightmares to dreams, dreams to reality

We're Here to Feel the Magic.

We're seekers of the Magic of the Ordinary. The ones who find the mundane otherwise enchanting. We seek the gratitude for every corn kernel, the wisdom of the trees, and the capacity of the depths of the oceans.

My name is Rachel Leibovich and I'm here to help each and every person rediscover the magic in each moment of life. To return to the wonders of childhood that sent me crawling through the dirt to look for frogs, sledding down snowy hills, and searching for the nearest body of water so that I could plunge into a different realm.

Over time our lives are impacted by restriction, convention, and fear. We become wounded by the oppressions of life, sometimes so much that we forget our own Magic, our own Power, and our own Agency.

I've spent the majority of my life fighting for justice. I've gotten degrees in feminist studies and environmental justice. I've fought my way to the top of state capitol buildings (and still do). I show up at city halls and shopping malls and protest the injustice of it all.

And I got so, so tired.

I know I'm not alone. This work comes from the passionate beating of hearts who can see the world differently. We see the ways that oppression and injustice have systemically shaped the world. Most importantly, we see ways to live another life.

We're fighting for justice, but our mission is much larger.

We're stewards of peace. Stewards of the After.

We're creating the world as we know it could be, breathing life into the world of peace while also working towards justice.

Welcome, to the New Earth.

"Rachel holds a wisdom so deep and true, so gentle and knowing, so pure and clear, that sitting in her spaces feels like a sacred return home. Her group facilitation skills are top notch, and she guides with expertise. Her compassion for all beings is remarkably strong, and she lives a life dedicated to her values. These qualities shine through in her work, adding grounded integrity to all she touches. Plus, she is a knowledgeable plant priestess concocting the coolest, and effective, natural products around. In whatever way you engage her work, you are sure to be satisfied."

"Working with Rachel is a dream. Rachel’s sensitivity and areas of expertise have allowed me to move more confidently through tough waters and more importantly move, and be supported with, the community of Esperanzas Acres as a whole. Esperanzas Acres is built on the sincerity, reverence, and joy that Rachel exudes in her work and soul. Among the many things Rachel is, she is a strong mirror and holds witness towards my own power and sovereignty in dream weaving and lends much needed clarity and insight. This coupled with the many textures of support and community offered at Esperanzas Acres has been truly a blessing to walk with."

- Margaret Hamilton

"Rachel has an incredible ability to tune into the energy of a group that she is holding space for and trust the insights she receives for what is needed at that moment in time. You are able to fully merge with your truth in her Presence because her genuine care and support is felt in every cell of your body. Her guidance allows you to let your guard down and fully breathe because, without words, she offers permission to truly be your authentic self."

We recognize the land we now live on has been colonized and cultivated by slavery.

Turtle Island is home to a multiplicity of Indigenous nations, cultures, peoples, traditions, languages, religions, spiritualities, foods, plants, animals, stones, minerals, rivers, lakes, and soils. The institutions of colonization, slavery, and capitalism have exploited the land and attempted genocide of its beings. As a diasporic people, we have within us the tensions of building community with land that is open to us through pathways of immense violence. There is so much joy in being a steward of land, but we must recognize the ways in which systemic oppression has made this so. The city of Madison, Wisconsin, where I am currently located, has been, is, and will be the ancestral lands of the Ho Chunk Nation. We are dedicated to striving further to be powerful allies to the Ho Chunk and all First Nations and Indigenous Peoples and protectors of this land, waters, and Earth in solidarity.

We also recognize that this land has been cultivated on the backs of enslaved persons brought here violently against their will. The legacies of institutional slavery still exist today and are furthered through systemic racism. As we repair relationship with land and each other, we must work against systems of anti-black and brownness that do violence against our community members. Especially in the Jewish community, we stand against Ashkenormativity and the white-supremacy that is seeded within it.
